Following on from the success of the 9th European Resuscitation Council Congress in Ghent in May 2008, the ERC invites you to its Scientific Symposium to be held in Cologne, Germany, 2-3 October 2009 on Education.

By October 2009, the brand new guidelines will be only 12 months from publication.

How can they be implemented?
How can we teach Europe?

This Symposium focuses on education. Scientific knowledge can serve no purpose when the education does not work. While the 2010 Congress in Porto will focus on the science of resuscitation, this symposium will deal with educational aspects. For you, the delegate, this will be an ideal opportunity to contribute, together with an international faculty of experts, towards new insights.

Cologne is a major cultural centre of the Rhineland and has a vibrant arts' scene. Cologne is home to more than 30 museums and hundreds of galleries. The cathedral or Dom is a World Heritage Site and described by UNESCO as an "exceptional work of human creative genius".
